Whitney and Don's winter wedding at Camp Lucy was full of delightful details and exquisite blooms. Birch wrap and logs, verdant moss and trailing willow branches created a natural and whimsical atmosphere that blended perfectly with Camp Lucy's Hill Country aesthetic. Whitney's stunning bouquet included peonies and roses and was thoughtfully embellished with a family prayer book. We are continually amazed by Dustin's gorgeous photographs and his impressive ability to capture the best moments.

Lori & Matt's Wedding at The Driskill

We're delighted to share photos, courtesy of Dustin Meyer Photography, from Lori & Matt's elegant wedding at The Driskill. Lori's bouquet had brilliant pops of violet, cream peonies with blush centers and white ranunculus. Overall, Lori's color palette incorporated a classic feel with modern elements making for a unique and stylish ambiance.

We loved the way the hanging pomanders looked above the bar.

Everything tied together perfectly with the table arrangements, which included: lush burgundy peonies, purple stock and contrasting green hydrangea. The candle holders were wrapped with Prussian Blue ribbon.

Abby and Matt's Wedding at Barr Mansion

Abby and Matt had the most beautiful day for their wedding. Here are a few images courtesy of Sarah and Rocky Photography with all the gorgeous details!

The flowers we incorporated were succulents, yellow billy balls, scabiosa pods, roses, snapdragons and fragrant bay laurel greenery. The bride wore a few sweet little ranunculus in her hair. The ceremony was held outside on the Barr Mansion lawn with small buckets of flowers hanging in the trees. Mercury glass containers filled with moss, succulents, stock, roses and billy balls and coordinating votive candles set the mood for the reception. Grace and Eric were married in December at the lovely Four Seasons hotel downtown. Erin, was a stunning July bride who wanted a look that not only held up to the heat, but also created a gorgeous monochromatic statement at the same time! Katie's bouquet was filled with luscious white peonies and the bridesmaids each carried a unique bouquet filled with a single variety of flower. They included tulips, hydrangea, ranunculus, roses, lissianthus, stock and anemones. We incorporated a pop of color into the reception arrangements with coral charm peonies and a touch of earthiness with kale, amaranthus and nectarines!

Rita and Chris' beautiful wedding at the Four Seasons

I love that Rita took countless hours to hand fold about 1,000 paper cranes for her wedding ceremony and reception. She put so much of herself and her fiance's personality into the wedding...check out the hand made guitar boutonniere she created for him. She even provided guitar picks for us to incorporate into the bridesmaids bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres. It was a beautiful celebration and you can see pure joy in the looks on their faces!

Her flowers included red hearts roses, red mokara orchids, varied shades of pink stock, purple dendrobium orchids and my favorite of the season...blooming branches. We hung smaller versions of the cranes from all the blooming branches and everyone loved it so much they were plucking them off as favors at the end of the night!

Glide into fall with lush seasonal flowers

We love hanging floral arrangements and last fall we just outdid ourselves with these impressive over scaled beauties! This gala was held in mid-November and the rich color palette brought the fall season indoors. The lovely AT&T conference center was the perfect location for such enormous and powerful floral statements. The coordinating table arrangements balanced the room and drew guests' eyes upward to the ceiling. Cool concepts for such a beautiful space!

This lovely wedding was held out at the beautiful Texas Old Town's Sage Hall. We loved the bride's choices of muscari, lissianthus and sunflowers to compliment the Hill Country setting.

A lush and modern mix in shades of greens, whites and tangerines was the perfect summer color palette for Lisa's lovely wedding ceremony. Her floral choices included bells of Ireland, veronica, star of bethlehem, horsetail, several orchid varieties and hydrangeas. The entire bridal party looked stunning! A touch of fun from Studio 563

The super cool, fun and talented Andy Peterson of Studio 563 just shared these images with me. I loved this wedding because the bride wasn't afraid to think outside the box! The bride's father and grandfather were both cotton gin men. She honored them by carrying a very unique bouquet composed of fresh cotton bolls. The boutonniere for her groom coordinated and they made a very stunning couple! The other flowers were all lovely shades of peaches, yellows, oranges and pinks. We accented the wrought iron votive trees on each guest table with blooms of freesia, roses, and scaboisa. The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center was the perfect backdrop and Austin Catering filled all the guests with delicious goodies! It was a gorgeous night!

I saw these pictures were posted on Amy Blackburn's blog and just had to share! Kristina was such a pleasure to work with and we are so happy that we could turn her vision into reality. She sent us this wonderful thank you email after her wedding.

Holy Cow, Devon!!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the absolutely amazing job that you did for my wedding. The flowers were truly breathtaking and were more than I could have ever expected. Every single detail was exactly how I had imagined, and more. The corsages were beautiful, and I can't thank you enough for incorporating the button flowers that I had made. It made them so special because they were part of my late grandmother's collection. I will also let you know, that I had not cried AT ALL during the hours leading up to the ceremony until I walked into the bridal room and saw my bouquet. It seemed like a random time to cry, but it was just too perfect. The centerpieces looked EXACTLY like the pictures I brought in, and I'm still not sure how you managed to remember them over a year later. I have gotten so many complements on the flowers and people have told me they looked like they were out of a magazine! Everyone wanted to take an arrangement home with them! Again, thank you so much for making my day so special!

A beautiful Indian wedding

We just had to share these wonderful images from Keya and Tom's January wedding taken by the talented Whitney Lee photography. I love the vibrant flowers used for the ceremony, the orchids were absolutely gorgeous! After the ceremony the bride changed from her sari into a beautiful white wedding dress and carried a bouquet of white phalaenopsis, dendrobium and cymbidium orchids. The ceremony site was also transformed into an elegant all white seated dinner. We would also like to thank Gina with Star Catcher events, she did a great job planning all the details of Keya and Tom's big day!

Lisa and her family were such a blast to work with! They were sweet and so fun loving...when we got to Barton Creek Resort at the end of the night on Saturday they were still rockin' hard and having a great time with the band Sauce (love them!).

You did my flowers for my wedding last November at the Driskill hotel. I just wanted to say thank you so much!

The flowers were such an amazing part of the wedding and everything looked so perfect!

I attached a couple of my favorite bouquet photos (check out the book the flowers are sitting on!). It was just perfect.

Our sweet friend Emma got married back in March! She is a creative and used her many talents to infuse her wedding with personality and color. The culmination of all her hard DIY work was featured on the Oncewed blog just a few days ago! We incorporated ranunculus, lilac, queen ann's lace, flat leaf fern, seeded eucalyptus, and a mix of succulents in her luscious bouquet. Oh, and our favorite was the moss table too...go check it out.

Many people that ask me about how we create such lovely hand tied bouquets. Well, I just stumbled across this little tutorial at Southern Living and thought I would share. These 6 simple tips will start you on your way to hand tied bouquets in abundance! Everyone should have beautiful flowers in their home. This just makes it a little more fun.

We do teach flower arranging classes for small groups every now and then. It's a lot of fun to see how everyone's arrangement ends up slightly different. Try it...you might like it!

Kenisha loved her bouquet so much and that just makes me smile! We incorporated white roses, fushia stock, purple sweet peas, and blue delphinium and tied it off with satin ribbon. I am touched that she has already sent us photos from her big day last weekend! The ceremony and reception were both held at the always fabulous Driskill Hotel...it doesn't get any better than that!

Rebecca and her family shared these amazing images with us last week. She was married on 3.28 at the lovely Chapel Dulcinea. The couple did a butterfly release and it was a very cool morning. Mother's Day Gift Ideas

We'd like to introduce two lovely new additions to our line of Gianna Rose Atelier beautifully molded, triple milled soaps.

The "heart in hand" soap is actually two individual bars created from a vintage mold. It has hints of citrus, lavender, jasmine and rosewood and the delicate letterpress packaging completes the sentiment.

The "dressmaker's form" soap is a tantalizing floral and melon fragrance. Wrapped in pink tissue with a tiny black bow at the waist...so chic!

Lovely Spring Bouquets...

I just absolutely love the way these bouquets turned out for Shelly's wedding on March 13th at Nature's Point. She was such a wonderful client and amazingly beautiful bride. The photos were taken by Christina Carroll. She got these close ups and I couldn't help myself...I just had to share them! I love the contrast of the cobalt blue dresses and the vibrant pinks, yellows and greens in the bridesmaids' bouquets. Peonies for the bride were perfect with her gown along with accents of rannculas, roses, viburnum and ostrich feathers...oh my!
